81 Produce Announce Idolls! TV Anime for January Premiere, Shin-Ei Animation.


About 

"Idols! The Idolmaster is a Japanese media franchise that started with a raising simulation  video game series developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This series is  about the career of a producer who works with a group of upcoming pop idols at the talent agency 765 Production. 


"Idols! official website is now available! This website is created by Anime studio Shin-Ei Animation and voice talent agency 81 Produce


They announced on this website that they are producing a new television anime named Idolls! that will start broadcasting from January 2021 on BS Asahi.

 Cast

The voice cast was selected in the audition project " What Sei You?" (Seiyū meaning in Japanese is the Japanese term for voice actor)what sei you is a YouTube program that selected the voice cast. This project begun in May 2019 and distributed 84 voice actors into 10 teams. "


The selected cast includes:


  • Aina Rutō as Aina

  • Ami Mizuno as Ami

  • Shiori Hanaoka as Shiori

  • Ruka Yashiro as Ruka


The anime is directed by Shōta Nakano at Shin-Ei Animation. series composition will be handled by Takeshi Miyamoto (The 8th son? Are you kidding me?). Keiji Watarai (Kamogawa Horumo, O/A manga) is delivering the original character designs. Shōji Kubota is credited for 3DCG design.


Ray, a company guiding the Project Singularity virtual YouTuber (VTuber) "live" performance project, is working together on the creation. The anime's production will use motion capture technology to grasp the activities of the voice cast while simultaneously,creating voice recordings.


To announce the decision to broadcast the anime "Idols!", Four cast members  will be on Nico Nico Live and YouTube from 20:00 on Saturday, October 3rd. The program will feature Miyu Takagi, who was also the host of "What Sei You?"?" As a guest. They will provide the latest news on the anime "Idols!". In addition, they also intends to resume to broadcast on YouTube and Nico Nico Live once in a month.
