Dragon Ball Theory: Secret Of Beerus's Origin May Be Hidden in a Minor Character
In T.O.P, (Tournament of Power) the fighter carries a weird resemblance to Lord Beerus, what could it possibly mean?
One of the biggest mysteries of Dragon Ball Super is Champa and Beerus's home planet. They both are based on a species of hairless cats, where did they come from? and is there more species out there ?, it hasn't been clear yet but Dragon Ball fans are guessing that Dyspo from Pride Troopers of Universe 11 may be of their race, the resemblance given to Dyspo is like Lord Beerus (The God Of Destruction of Universe 7) and even Lord Champa has made a note of the relation. For Dragon Ball Super fans, unfortunately, that was the sole time the series was thus far mentioned.
The design of Dyspo is more based on a rabbit, his's ears are very much longer than Lord Beerus, he also doesn't have any tail like the God Of Destruction. Like Lord Beerus and Lord Champa, he also appears to be a hairless creature. Like both God Of Destruction, his origin is also unknown, he has a very strong sense of justice, which is more what can be seen and said for Lord Beerus. His style of fighting is based on speed, even Lord Champa had some difficulty seeing Dyspo Fighting in the Tournament (T.O.P).
Originally beerus was supposed to be a lizard but Akira Toriyama decided to change the design, which will be based on his Cornish Rex cat, Debo. The cat was 14 years old and felt ill at some point but the cat lived, the vet said that he doesn't have much time left, encouraging the vet to call Debo which means Demon. He was also meant to be an antagonist and can infect others. His name in Japan is pronounced as a virus.
What's the connection? Fans have been searching in places like Quora to figure out, why one of the fighters in (T.O.P) Tournament Of Power looks similar to Lord Beerus (The God Of Destruction). A Youtuber ExperGamez believed that it's a recycling process of the design by the staff. He says that it wouldn't be the first time that a design is reused in series, for example, Recoome from Ginyu Force looked like a human from Earth, but he was from a different planet and belonged to different species.
Lord Beerus, Lord Champa, and Dyspo could be from the same planet, where everyone is hairless, anthropomorphic with large ears and purple skin. The similarities which are given to both God Of Destruction, it could be that Dyspo represents what Lord Beerus could have been if he wasn't a God Of Destruction. Lord Beerus doesn't care about the fate of others as seen when he refused to help when the Saiyan race was about to get destroyed.
On the other hand, Dyspo is more caring and his goal is to get rid of evil in his Universe. Lord Beerus was supposed to spread evilness, it could be possible that Dyspo is to be a polar opposite. However until Akira Toriyama and produced them comes out or the series goes into to past for Lord Beerus and Lord Champa, fans have to keep on speculating on it.
